You can't visit the Art Deco Capital without enjoying an Art Deco Walk! Over 20,000 people enjoy daily guided walking tours each year! Your guide will bring will bring Napier's fascinating architecture to life for you as you take an easy stroll through the compact Art Deco Quarter in the vibrant city centre.

Take a stroll through the streets of downtown Napier on a leisurely 1.5km walk that takes approximately 2 hours. Booklets are available from the Napier Visitor Information Centre.

Located on Marine Parade, the National Aquarium is one of the most popular attractions in the Napier area. A Qualmark Endorsed Visitor Activity, the aquariaum is open daily and visitors are advised to allow 1-2 hours to fully enjoy their visit.

At set times during the day visitors can watch as divers enter the Oceanarium to feed the fish in the reef and ocean tanks. Guided tours and swimming with the sharks is also available by prior arrangement.

A fabulous family environment, the National Aquarium of New Zealand also has a cafe and souvenir shop.

Also located on Napier's sunny Marine Parade, Marineland of New Zealand provides the opportunity to get up close and personal with a dolphin!

Open daily, visitors can enjoy daily dolphin and sea lion shows, an opportunity to swim with dolphins, and daily tours behind the scenes, including Marine Animal Encounter and Penguin Workshop.

At Marineland you can also learn about some of the sick or injured animals cared for, including New Zealand Fur Seals, Little Blue Penguins, Leopard Seals, Yellow Eyed Penguins, Gannets and Seagulls.
